To af selskabets stiftere, Huub Van Boeckel og Time Rompa, er tidligere tennisspillere, hvilket har haft stor indflydelse på brandet, og det kan tydeligt ses - tennis såler er kombineret med et afslappet og rent udseende, på den øvre del af skoene.
Jeg er personligt yderst imponeret over deres high-top sneakers - jeg sidder faktisk med et par i skødet, som jeg glæder mig til at vise jer, på et senere tidspunkt! HUB Footwear har offentliggjort et spændende designsamarbejde, som er anderledes end så mange andre. HUB Footwear x Philly Painting sneakeren, som ses til højre, er designet af kunstner duoen Jeroen Koolhaas og Dre Urhahn. Alt overskud bliver doneret til førnævnte to mænds Favela Paitning Foundation, for at støtte deres fremtidige projekter. Denne sneaker, kan købes i butikkerne fra d. 9 februar.
